Based in Livorno, graduated from International Relationships at “Università L’Orientale” and from Comics at “Scuola Italiana di Comix” in Napoli. I worked for a long time as a graphic designer for NGOs, which allowed me to merge my two main interests, cooperation and design. What I got left from the first one are my years hanging around Tanzania, which built up my own creative world made by exaggerated, clean shapes, big animals and bright colours. I love to synthesize ideas in one single shot, that’s why my favourite thing is making posters or illustrated books.
Among my books: Kipling’s “The Jungle Book” (Kleiner Flug), whereby I’ve been selected for the 2017 Annual by Autori di Immagini, that also awarded me with Annual Award’s third place; “L’Ecologia spiegata ai bambini” (Beccogiallo), written by Marco Rizzo, finalist at Premio Boscarato 2018 in Best Children Book cathegory; “Papyrus”, a short story contained in “Vivi e Vegeta – Odio di Palma” (by Savino-Simeone), edited by Bao Publishing.
Since 2017 I proudly teach Colour Theory at The Sign – Comics & Arts Academy in Florence.
